Frequently Asked Questions
MAT believes muscle tightness is due to a weakness found elsewhere in the body. When the body senses a weakness, it tightens up to create stability. MAT works WITH the body to locate that weakness through a series of checks and balances. It seeks to improve the neuromuscular communication so the inhibited muscles improve their contractibility which results in a more balanced muscular system which often leads to a reduction of tension and pain. Range of motion and strength may also improve.
How do I know if MAT is right for me?
If you have ever been injured while playing sports or feel recurring pain in your muscles, Muscle Resolution is here to help. When traditional forms of treatment such as pain medication, injections, muscle relaxers, and surgery do not improve your condition, MAT may be able to help restore your body.
What do I need to wear?
Please bring gym or exercise attire. Please do not wear office clothing or jeans because they are not conducive to your treatment session.
How long does a session last?
A typical session takes an hour, however an initial visit may take longer due to the gathering of your medical history.
How much does a session cost?
I do not bill insurance, however I do try to remain affordable. I currently do not accept charge/debit cards but will accept checks and cash. If you are interesting in purchasing a package, fees will be reduced.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 12 hour cancellation policy. I will charge full price for any session that is canceled less than 12 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
